Residing next door to the IGCA, the Annex studio is a relatively new contribution to the Anchorage community. This is a private studio space for the artist in residence as well as an active gallery.

Currently hosting five practicing artists, from printmakers to painters, this space hopes to cultivate contemporary making.

Any studio renter or artist showing within the IGCA has the opportunity to teach a class in the Annex. This allows access to different voices within our art education. In addition, it opens up an opportunity for artists to showcase their process.

The Annex gallery is a white wall space to show different forms of making that don’t fit within the confines of IGCA central.

With more work who knows what this space will become :)
